Who makes your seating chart
Kindly Seated is a one-person studio in Utah, started in November 2026 by Alex. There is no team page because there is no team: one founder, the software, and the mascot.
A note from Alex
My wife plans events, so I've seen what the last week before a wedding looks like from the kitchen table: the RSVPs that arrive late, the chart that has to be redone, the place cards typed twice. I've spent years setting type for names and lists, the unglamorous kind of design where the job is to make a hundred names fit and stay readable. Kindly Seated is those two things put together. You decide who sits where; the software does the typesetting the way I would by hand, and when a name changes, every file follows.
I answer every email myself at hello@kindlyseatedco.com, usually the same day.
What the studio does
- Typesets, doesn't template. Your list goes in; the software sizes, groups and sorts every name, splits a long list across posters instead of shrinking it, and keeps the chart, place cards, table numbers, QR sign and backup list in one design.
- Checks before you pay. Missing tables and possible duplicate names are flagged for you to decide. Nothing is merged or guessed.
- Keeps the files yours. Print at home or at any shop. Edit until the day. Your guest list is deleted 30 days after the event, or when you say.
What it doesn't do
We don't plan seating, assign seats within a table, or design bespoke artwork. There are six fixed designs. If you want a planner's eye on who sits with whom, hire a planner; many of our customers do, and then bring us the finished list.
Honest about being new
The site launched in November 2026. The samples use fictional names because we won't show a real couple's guest list, and we have no reviews to quote yet. The free preview exists so you don't have to take our word for anything: upload your list, see every file with your own names, then decide.
How to reach a person
Email hello@kindlyseatedco.com. Replies come from the founder, not a queue. Printers, planners and venues are welcome to write too.
See it before you decide
The preview is free and uses your real guest list.
